BAP Acoustics provided support to StudioHub for this public-private partnership project in West Kelowna under construction by Clark Builders. The acoustic consulting services provided will ensure that the architectural and mechanical design meet the project acoustic requirements.
Along with the capacity of 1,200 students, this school will feature a childcare centre and an Indigenous cultural space. In addition to extensive learning spaces, the project features several acoustically important spaces, including a music room, a theatre room and a gymnasium.
The new George Pringle Secondary School is planned to open at the start of the school year in fall 2027.
