BAP Acoustics has worked on noise assessment projects for Viterra’s Pacific Elevator Terminal and Cascadia Terminal, both of which are situated in the Port of Vancouver. Work at the Pacific Elevator Terminal involved a baseline noise survey over an 11-day period at key locations in the nearby residential community. A 3D noise model was developed to simulate noise emissions from Pacific Elevator Terminal under existing and future conditions following a dust collection system upgrade. Work at Cascadia Terminal involved a screening level assessment relating to any potential impacts associated with the introduction of a new dust collection filter and fan system on the north side of the terminal.
