Hälsa is Swedish for health. Hälsa Spa is a health spa featuring massage, saunas and floatation therapy. The aim is to promote a healthy mind, body and spirit.
The floatation therapy experience removes the subject from a world constantly bombarded by light, noise and other stress stimuli.
BAP Acoustics worked with Hälsa Spa and Laflamme Architects to provide a high level of sound insulation to the float rooms, to properly vibration-isolate the float tanks and to minimise noise transmission throughout the spa. The net result is promotion of a low-level noise environment and optimisation of the float and spa experience.
