Phoenix Theatre productions serve an integral part of the academic requirements of students enrolled in the Department of Theatre’s Bachelor of Fine Arts and Master of Fine Arts degrees.
BAP Acoustics worked with Engineering Harmonics Inc. to undertake a comprehensive baseline assessment of the acoustic performance of the theatre suite. The assessment focused on illuminating any acoustic weaknesses in the theatres that could be remediated by acoustic treatment. The purpose was to ensure that the new sound system being designed by Engineering Harmonics would function to its full potential, and equip the theatres with a sound system that would enhance the eclectic range of productions put on at the Phoenix Theatre.
