Building Acoustic Design

Reverberation time is the principal parameter that controls the acoustics within a room and the subsequent level of speech intelligibility and musical clarity. We measure, or calculate, room reverberation time to assess whether a room has a sufficient amount of acoustic absorption to function properly for the intended purpose. If not, we can specify amounts and placement of acoustic treatment to optimize the room acoustic response.
