BAP Acoustics worked with Shape Architecture and Montgomery Sisam Architects throughout the design and construction of the replacement Maple Grove Elementary School in Vancouver.
The new school will be built to Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Gold standards. The interior will include lots of natural light, and large open and collaborative learning spaces to support B.C.’s new curriculum. It will also house a Neighbourhood Learning Centre.
BAP provided a full acoustic design service for general compliance with ANSI S12:60 Acoustic Performance Criteria, Design Requirements and Guidelines for Schools.
Construction was completed in 2020.
