With the completion of the new $30M Centre for Trades Education and Innovation in 2015, Camosun College is the largest provider of trades training on Vancouver Island and the second largest in BC, training over 2,200 students each year in 20 different programs.
Built to LEED Gold standards, the facility was designed by B+H Architects and the project managed by CitySpaces Consulting.
BAP Acoustics was engaged to provide input to the design to adequately control noise in the trades workshops, to reduce noise transmission between workshops and teaching spaces and to minimize any noise impact on the surrounding community.
